Sound Barrier Walls-Absorptive Metal Noise Barrier Panels
The Sound Barrier Wall System is an acoustically absorbent, high transmission loss noise barrier wall system. They are ideal for absorbing and blocking unwanted noise from commercial, industrial, residential or traffic noise applications.
Material Used For The Construction Of Noise Barrier Walls - are the lightweight metal acoustic panels constructed from a combination of Aluminum and Galvanized Iron (GI) sheet.- a solid metal sheet at the external side and perforated metal sheet for the internal side.
The external faces can be painted in any RAL color. The two ends of the metal barrier are properly formed (male-female) in order to achieve perfect sound sealing but also to improve its bending strength.
These noise barrier wall panels are held together firmly by galvanized metal "H" beam post and hot dip galvanized for corrosion protection. The construction of this noisebarrier wall products are robust and durable.
The Acoustic Absorption Metal Noise Barrier Wall Panels - The construction of the product is a robust Aluminum Front perforated panel with 8 sets of louvers spaced along the overall length of 2120 mm. The back of the acoustic box is Galvanized Iron sheet and the acoustic box is sturdily riveted together. Within the Metal Acoustic Box is a Polystyrene Sheet and a High Density Coax Plastic encapsulated Rockwool.

In the design and selection of a noise barrier wall besides the noise barrier wall material, one need to consider the effective height and the length of the noise barrier wall. A good noise wall would be at least four times (4d) the length of the distance(d) between the noise barrier wall and the affected area. The height of the noise barrier wall however depends on the height of the affected area. For effective noise reduction the noise barrier wall should be higher than the affected area. The closer the noise barrier wall to the source of the noise the better the results of its attenuation.
These panels are laboratory tested by SIRIM for transmission loss and the STC number was determined as 30. The Noise Reduction Coefficient was determined as NRC 0.75.
