Aluminium Bar Grating for Outdoor Flooring, Platforms, Access Systems
Aluminum Bar Grating is durable, lightweight, and has a high strength-to-weight ratio. Its properties are desirable for its ease of transportation and installation, it's strong resistance to highly corrosive environments and it maintains an aesthetic appeal for many years.
Typical applications aluminum grating is used for, but not limited to, are Water Treatment Plants, the Marine Industry, and Architectural Design. It is manufactured from ASTM B-221, 6063, or 6061 alloy.
Our Aluminium Bar Grating offer three types: Swaged Locked, Swaged Locked I-Bar, or Pressure Locked. Available in Plain or Serrated surfaces, standard sizes for aluminum bar grating come with cross bar spacing at 2" or 4" on center and bearing bar spacing ranging from 19/16" to 7/16" on center.
Treatment/Colour can be in aluminium mill finish, Anodised, painted, or powder coated.
Swage-Locked Rectangular Bar Aluminum Grating uses the swaging process to permanently lock the cross rods (positioned every 2" or 4") to the rectangular bars
Swage-Locked I-Bar Aluminum Grating is the most widely used and provides the strength equal to a rectangular bar of the same depth, but at far less weight and cost. The I-bars are permanently locked to the cross rods (positioned every 2" or 4") by a swaging process.
Press-Locked Rectangular Aluminum Bar Grating is constructed with the two close-tolerance slotted bars bonded together (positioned every 2" or 4") using tremendous hydraulic pressure. Permanent locking is achieved by forcing the deep cross bar into the bearing bar. Both the cross bars and the bearing bars provide walking surfaces in the press-locked design.
