Steel Drag Mats

Drag mats are used on baseball diamonds, sand traps on golf courses or any other sports field application where you need dirt, gravel or sand perfectly leveled out. The other very common use for a drag mat is to prepare soil before laying sod, hydro-seeding, construction, or regular grass seeding. Save yourself or your employees many, many hours of back breaking raking. Attach to a utility vehicle such as a Gator and simply pull the mat off the soil and you will have a perfectly level area when completed.

Our drag mats are with very high quality, flexible and weighted to make the task easy. The drag mats have a unique clinch to reduce snags and a rivet free u-bar that holds the mat firmly flat on the surface. There is a heavy nylon rope or tow chains tied to the bar on the drag mat that can be pulled by a vehicle or if needed by a person. There is no top or bottom, so this makes the mats easy to use and requires very little employee training.

Standard Duty Mats

3/8" (9.5mm) deep x .05" (1.27mm) thick crimp with 1"x 1" mesh, 13 gauge(2.3mm) connecting rods, 1.6 lbs. per sq.ft. weight.

Comes completely with a nylon rope and handle attached. It is perfect for grooming and general field maintenance!

Heavy Duty Mats

1/2” (12.7mm) deep x .062” (1.57mm) thick crimp with 1" x 1" mesh, 6 gauge(4.9mm) connecting rods, 3.5 lbs. per sq.ft. weight. each welded on end. Mat cannot separate!

Comes completely with a steel angle with eye bolts attached for you to attach your chain.

Rigid Steel Drag Mats

With 1" x 1" mesh, 13 gauge galvanized connecting rods. Mesh material is 3/8"(9.5mm) x .05” (1.27mm) galvanized steel.

Same as Standard Drag Mat except mesh has been rotated 90 degrees to make mat rigid which helps maximize its effectiveness to smooth out uneven surfaces. Rigid Mats can NOT be rolled up for storage.

Includes heavy-duty angle iron across front of mat and a rope and handle for pulling.
